MISSOULA - A former UM football player who was arrested for his role in a drug-related home invasion is back in jail after allegedly violating his probation.

Nineteen-year-old Jeramy Pate was one of eight defendants, including four former Grizzly football players, arrested in connection with a November 2007 home invasion.

The former cornerback appeared in District Court on Tuesday for allegedly violating his probation by smoking marijuana. Pate also is accused of failing to check in with probation officers and attending a concert in Washington state without permission.
