BUTTE - A Butte man died hours after being involved in a fight early Sunday and the coroner says the cause of death is "leaning" toward a prior medical condition.

Butte-Silver Bow police reported 58-year-old Robert Barry was involved in a fight with another man outside the Corner Bar sometime after midnight Saturday. Barry sas taken to St. James HealthCare, where he was pronounced dead sometime around noon Sunday. Coroner Lee LaBreche says an autopsy was conducted Monday and initial results appear to indicate Barry may have died from a prior heart condition.

However, the state medical examiner's office in Missoula is awaiting a toxicology report which could take several weeks to complete. The other man was questioned by police but has not been charged.
