Employees find defunct meth lab in storage unit

BOZEMAN - Employees at a storage facility who were preparing to sell unclaimed items at a garage sale found the contents of a defunct methamphetamine lab.

Dan Stringer is the commander of the Missouri River Drug Task Force. He says Falcon Storage employees became suspicious of the unit's contents and contacted authorities Friday. The storage facility's owners opened the unit and planned to sell its contents because the renters stopped paying for it.

A cleanup team from Salt Lake City responded and packaged all of the hazardous materials. That's according to a statement released Monday by the drug task force.
