MSU librarian to help set up library in Bahrain

BOZEMAN - A librarian at Montana State University has received a Fulbright award to help develop a new national library in Bahrain.

Elaine Peterson says her main role will be to consult and advise on the organization of their information. Peterson is also expected to host workshops for librarians from the University of Bahrain in Riffa, where the new library is located.

Peterson is scheduled to leave Bozeman on July 10 and return on Aug. 20. The 56-year-old Peterson is an associate professor and information systems specialist at Montana State's Renne Library.
