ST. REGIS - A man was killed in a head-on crash involving a semi-trailer rig and a moving van on Interstate 90 in western Montana.

The Montana Highway Patrol say the two vehicles collided Sunday afternoon on I-90 between St. Regis and De Borgia. The patrol says both vehicles caught fire and the 42-year-old man in the moving van was killed. The patrol says the driver of the semi was taken to a hospital for treatment of burns, but his injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.

The names of those involved have not been released.
