BOZEMAN - A Bozeman man accused of abandoning several exotic animals, including two alligators, in his trailer home has been charged with seven counts of animal cruelty.

Zebadiah Robins faces up to two years in prison and a $2,500 fine on each count. A warrant has been issued for his arrest. Court records state that a sheriff's sergeant went to a Bozeman trailer park in January to help clear out a mobile home that had been abandoned for at least three weeks and was slated to be sold at a sheriff's sale. The sergeant found two 3 1/2-foot-long alligators, a python, three turtles, a dead iguana and dead fish in the trailer. He also found several framed arrest warrants. Court documents says one of those was for cruelty to animals.
