WEST GLACIER - A National Park Service employee in Montana is the recipient of a national award for excellence in work as a ranger.

Gary Moses of Glacier National Park received the Harry Yount National Park Ranger Award. Winners are selected by their peers. Moses is an internationally recognized specialist in bear management, and is credited with saving the lives of two people in a 2005 bear mauling.
