Truman Dinner Keynote Announced

BILLINGS - Despite much speculation over the last few weeks, it appears at least for now, neither Hillary Rodham Clinton nor Barack Obama are confirming a visit to attend the Truman Dinner in Billings next month.
However, party leaders said Wednesday the presidential candidates have an open invitation to speak at the dinner and there's still a chance they might attend. Wednesday, the Yellowstone County Democratic Party announced U.S. Senator of Minnesota, Amy Klobucher will be the keynote speaker. The fundraiser is set for May 10th at the MSU-Billings Alterowitz gymnasium to accommodate a larger than usual turnout. All statewide candidates are scheduled to appear.
A debate is also scheduled the night before the dinner among all candidates for Superintendent of Public Instruction and the candidates for Montana Attorney General. The debates are set for May 9th at 6pm in the Petro Auditorium on the MSU-Billings campus.
