Billings woman sentenced in DUI fatalBILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — A 34-year-old Billings woman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after she pleaded guilty to driving drunk, running a red light and hitting a car in a crash that killed the other driver. Judge G. Todd Baugh sentenced Tawny Fisher-Jones on Wednesday to 30 years in the Montana Women's Prison, with 10 years suspended. Tawny Fisher-Jones had pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide while under the influence for the Feb. 22 death of 59-year-old Merry Jane Trewhella of Billings. |
