HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Chouteau County officials have released the names of a 73-year-old man and his 2-year-old granddaughter who were killed in a cabin fire southwest of Highwood.

Sheriff Vern Burdick says Erik Iversen and Lexus Peterson died in Saturday night's fire in the Highwood Mountains. Both are from the Great Falls area.

Burdick said Tuesday that he expects it will be difficult to find the cause of the fire because the small, one-room cabin burned to the ground.
