BILLINGS - A Lodge Grass teen is sentenced to 15 years in prison for killing his best friend and paralyzing another in a car crash in Billings.

Nineteen-year-old Jeremy Flatmouth was sentenced Thursday to 30 years in the Montana State Prison, with 15 suspended, for vehicular homicide while under the influence. He was also ordered to pay $490,277.00.

August of 2009, Flatmouth was driving on Zimmerman Trail when he rolled his car killing Joshua Yarlott and paralyzing Cyril Not Afraid. Flatmouth apologized for his actions.

Documents show Flatmouth's blood alcohol content was more than three times the legal limit.
