BILLINGS - The National Park Service has closed roads to Yellowstone National Park for the season.

This allows park staff to prepare roads for commercially guided snowmobile and snowcoach travel throughout the winter. The only park road open is from the North Entrance starting at Gardiner that continues to Cooke City.
Most visitor services in Yellowstone National Park have already ended for the season.
