BILLINGS - Local figure skaters had the chance to work with an Olympian July 26-30.

The Yellowstone Valley Figure Skating Club hosted a week-long camp for skaters of all ages July 26-30. Former Olympic skater Steven Cousins was a guest coach. He's coached in Billings three times before.

Skaters ranged in age from five to sixty-five, and it was all about improving their technical and artistic skills. "The enthusiasm of all the kids in the Yellowstone Figure Skating Club has just been fantastic," Cousins said, "I love being able to give back, I love being able to work with people who just love to skate and that's what it's like here."

Cousins placed sixth in the 1998 Nagano Olympic Games, his third time competing for Britain in the Olympics.
