North Dakota Man Arrested In Federal Courthouse Vandalism

BILLINGS - Billings police identified a man arrested in connection to a break-in at the new Federal Courthouse in downtown Billings on Thursday.

Police officials said Friday that 24-year-old Jeurgen Colbert was arrested by police late Thursday night, after an unknown caller reported a break-in at the new Federal Courthouse. Police said officers on scene found Colbert inside the courthouse, along with a number of windows that were broken.

Colbert was arrested on burglary charges and was taken to the Yellowstone County Detention Facility. According to the police, Colbert is from North Dakota.

The investigation is still ongoing.
