LOCKWOOD - A fire destroys one mobile home and damages two others in Lockwood Saturday morning.

Lockwood Fire Chief Bill Rash said just before noon Saturday they got a call about a shed on fire in the Eastwood Estates at 1803 Highway 87 East. Chief Rash said the fire moved to a vacant mobile home, then to two other trailers in the mobile home park. The fire caused about $10,000 in damages to the first trailer. The fire caused significant damage to the second trailer and minor damage to the third.

No one was home in the second trailer and a family of five was able to escape from the third trailer with no injuries. The mobile home park's maintenance man complained of smoke inhalation but did not want to be transported to the hospital.

Chief Rash said the fire started in the shed, but they're still determining what started the fire. All of the structures are insured.
