BILLINGS - The Human Resources Development Council received a grant Thursday that will help young homeless mothers in Billings.

The fourth year renewal grant is nearly $64,000, and officials said the grant funds the Harmony House. It's home to four homeless women and their children. While living there, moms learn parenting and employment skills to help gain their independence.

"It's a relief because there are so many things that we want to do with the young moms, and there are things we want to teach them and have them learn. There are activities to take part in, as well. It's a relief knowing that we can continue to do that," Harmony House Manager; Amy Ensign said.

Women must be between the age of 18 and 21 to apply for the program. If you would like to contribute to these mothers in need, click on Connections.
