Food Bank Fundraising Season Starts

BILLINGS - The Billings Food Bank kicked off its fundraising season Friday night.

The Twelfth Night Crawfish Broil took place at the Food Bank building on 4th Avenue North. There was a buffet dinner, a bar, music, and a silent auction. Friday night's event kicked off an annual series of three Louisiana-themed fundraisers for the Food Bank.

"This is a major fundraiser for us," Director Sheryle Shandy said. "We always have a special thing that we're going after money for. We haven't decided what that is yet this year, but this is a big part of our administrative budget."
