BILLINGS - Two Billings women were taken to the hospital after a five-car pileup on Central Avenue Tuesday afternoon.

Sergeant Scott Conrad said the accident happened around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Central Avenue and 33rd Street West. He said the driver of a green Cadillac tried slowing down but pressed the accelerator instead. The Cadillac slammed into one car which started a chain reaction involving four other vehicles.

Sergeant Conrad said the injuries were not life threatening and no citations have yet been issued.
