BILLINGS - Five year old Ethan Holloway is celebrating an exciting milestone in his life; Ethan's mom, Natalie, explains, "I'm nervous for him to go, but I also feel a little bit better because I know he's going to Boulder."

Wednesday will be his first day of kindergarten. Like his older sister, Ethan will start off his education at Boulder Elementary and later move on to Arrowhead. But before he can go, a lot of preparation is put into his first day. "Usually we're in bed about 8:30, but we'll have our talk about the 1st day of school and what they're going to expect," explained Natalie.

From his school supplies to the clothes he will wear, Ethan is ready. A Cars lunch pale, Transformers backpack, pair of shoes and an outfit line his bed. For Natalie, it's all bittersweet, "it makes me sad that he's already old enough to go to kindergarten, but excited also that he gets to experience these things."

It's an experience that will come all too soon; the bus will arrive just before 8 Wednesday morning. Prepared and anxiously awaiting, Ethan will join dozens of other tykes as they begin the next chapter in their lives.
