BILLINGS - Montana Highway Patrol troopers respond to several serious accidents Friday across Eastern Montana.

In Belfry a stretch of road referred to as 'cemetary curve' claims the life of a 50-year-old Billings man. The single motorcycle accident occurred on Highway 72 just before eight Friday evening.

The trooper on the scene said they'll release the victim's name when family has been notified. Troopers said the man passed several witnesses before his accident, but none saw the wreck.

Troopers are still investigating the cause of the accident and have not ruled out speed or alcohol.

Highway Patrol Command said they expect a busy Friday and weekend as the Beartooth Rally continues. They ask motorists to exercise caution on the roadways.
