BILLINGS - Dish Network subscribers may want to listen up. KULR-8 may no longer be carried on the satellite provider.

The owner of KULR-8, Max Media is currently in negotiations with Dish Network for fair market value in order to provide continued carriage of KULR-8 on Dish Network.

KULR-8’s general manager says the last negotiations took place in 2005. “This new cycle calls for an adjustment in the market rate. A lot has happened in the last six years. Since then, we rolled out, digital television, high definition television, we've rolled out multiple channels, as far as multi-casts, not just KULR-8 but we have our 8.2 24-7 weather channel, a lot has happened, and we feel with the new market conditions that the new negotiations are certainly justified,” said KULR-8’s General Manger Bruce Cummings.
