BILLINGS - A local concert organizer pleads ‘not guilty’ to charges stemming from payment disputes with contractors.

Bull Pen Rally organizer Mike Decker represented himself Thursday in Carbon County District Court. He pled 'not guilty' to one felony and one misdemeanor count of issuing a bad check. Prosecutors said the two checks total nearly $35,000.

The judge denied Decker's motion to dismiss the charges. He was released on his own recognizance. Decker's next court appearance hasn't been scheduled.

Decker's outdoor, multi-day concert was held in July of 2010 near Red Lodge.
