BILLINGS - A new Mexican restaurant is opening its doors this week in Billings.

Cafe Rio Mexican Grill serves tacos, burritos, salads, desserts, and other items in a quick-casual environment. The company hired 55 people, and they're donating $2,500 to School District Two. The new store on King Avenue will be the company's 48th location nationwide.

"We like being part of the community. We don't want to just come in, open our doors, and expect people to show up," said Chief Marketing Officer Ben Craner. "One of the reasons people love us in all of our other markets is because once we're here, we're a great neighbor. We like to be part of the team. And everyone seems to appreciate it, including us."

Cafe Rio's grand opening is Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Attendees can eat free for the first hour of the event.

The chain has one other Montana restaurant in Great Falls.

Kma great attitude. Try it first an maybe you will see why they are repeatedly number one in the nation. Don't be ignorant pessimist.

great another choke and puke joint thats all we need another {mexican} slop house.Why dont we get real restaurants insted of these run of the mill joints
