BILLINGS - Some buses with a famous rocker's face on them attracted a lot of attention Thursday in the West End Wal-Mart parking lot. People were lining up to see rocker Bret Michaels' buses.

"We love the buses," said Pete Evick, Michaels' guitarist. "You get to see a lot of the country."

The band played in Sturgis Wednesday night and stopped in Billings to get some supplies before heading to Three Forks for Rockin the Rivers Friday night. Evick said Michaels doesn't travel with the band, but is in good health.
"Since Bret's brain hemorrhage and everything, this (concert) is a celebration of life. Bret's really turned up the party," Evick said. "It's all smiles and all good times. It's a celebration of music life and a wonderful life. Everybody's happy to be alive."

As someone who's traveled the nation for most of his life, Evick said he's glad to be playing in Montana again.
"We played in Montana a couple years ago against this big beautiful mountain range and I took a picture of it," he said. "I have it in my phone. One of the most beautiful sights I'd ever seen was out here."

Michaels and the band will take the stage at about 9:00 Friday night.
