BILLINGS - The 20th Annual Big Sky Regional Science Bowl is underway in the Magic City.

Middle and high schoolers from around the state are competing Friday and Saturday. The 17 teams are asked Science related questions, and the group who answers the most questions correctly gets to advance.

Great Falls eighth grader, Walker Mcallister said the competition is a blast. "Some of the competition is just neck and neck. Each team has the same amount of points and questions go back and forth. It gets pretty fun and heated," Mcallister said.

The competition continues Saturday as participants race model cars. Teams will be facing off for a free trip to the National Science Bowl in Washington D.C. in April.
