BILLINGS - Old items laying around your home could bring in some big bucks, as a group of antique collectors visit Billings. A search for collectables lead to one big find Tuesday.

Treasure Hunters Roadshow bought $20 gold coins from a Billings man for $15,000.

The $20 pieces were minted in San Francisco in the late 1800's and early 1900's.

The seller bought them a few years back for just $3,000.

Treasure Hunters Roadshow collects more than just coins. "We've actually bought some old vampire killing kits from the mid 1800's. I think those things are pretty cool," Event Manager Nathan Harding said.

Treasure Hunters Roadshow is at the Holiday Inn in Billings through Saturday. They will look at your antiques for free. You don't even need an appointment.

The company will either re-sell purchased items or melt them down.

This company should be sanctioned for stealing from people and advertizing that they pay top top $. Twenty $ 20 gold coins are worth at least $20-24,000 just for gold value
