A Good First Impression for Magic City's Less Fortunate

BILLINGS - A good first impression is important for any job interview, and one Billings group made sure that those less fortunate are dressed for success on Friday.

The Human Resources Development Council hosted a steady stream of people looking for a good suit at its headquarters. The suits were donated by Men's Wearhouse in its National Suit Drive event in August, and this was the first time the HRDC cooperated with Men's Wearhouse.

Job seekers at the event say they are grateful for receiving the help they need to find a job, especially in this troubled economy.

"The better dressed for a job, even being overdressed for the interview, is better than being underdressed," said Jerrid Johnson, who noted that in the past, he was dressed in T-Shirts and Jeans for job interviews, which, he said, did not bode well for him.
