By Adam Racusin

LOCKWOOD - Lockwood fire officials say the Ford Fire which burned near Emerald Hills is 100% contained. They say the fire scorched more than 800 acres.
The Montana DNRC along with the Lockwood Fire Department will be patrolling the area Friday, monitoring occasional smoke showing in the interior of the burned areas. They will not be sending crews to extinguish the smoke but will let them burn themselves out.
The blaze burned two homes along with several vehicles and outhouses. All evacuation orders have been lifted allowing residents to return to their homes. Senator Jon Tester will be holding a meeting Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Lockwood Fire Station.
Tester will be talking about new federal grants for people to protect their homes and then touring the fire area.
