BILLINGS -Employees of the K-Mart in Billings got a workout Saturday raising money for a cause.

Staff members took turns 'Biking for Babies'. Employees rode stationary bikes and elliptical machines in hour-long shifts, raising money for the Billings March of Dimes. The store started the fundraiser after an employee had a personal experience with the organization.

"My husband and I lost our daughter to still birth in January.” K-Mart HR employee Jessica Hanson said. “So when the March of Dimes came around I thought ‘hey we can honor her by walking.’ But then another manager in our store asked me if we would allow them to walk in her honor as well. So it kind of spring boarded from there." K-Mart employees raised more than $500 dollars in the event.

I was one of the bikers and the grand total for the event ended up at around $800.
