BILLINGS - One Billings resident is a finding a unique way to recycle bikes.

Dan Austin founded the Billings chapter of Bicycles for Humanity a little less than 2 months ago. Saturday, Austin collected more than 30 new and used bikes from members throughout the community. Once he has gathered 500 of them, Austin will ship the bikes to a community in southern Africa. He said the bikes will help children and health care workers travel throughout their village.

Austin will be collecting bikes again next Saturday from 2 p.m.-to-5 p.m. at Shiloh Crossing. For more information on Bicycles for Humanity, click here.
