WASHINGTON, D.C. - Senator Jon Tester is challenging members of Congress who oppose the health reform plan to, as he puts it; "step up and do what's right."

The Democrat told his fellow Senators this week about some Montana school employees who are facing 70% increases to their insurance premiums. He says doing nothing is no longer an option.

Tester says, "For those in Congress who say the American people don't want or need reform, let them talk to the folks I've talked to like the teachers seeing these rate increases."

Tester says similar increases for other Montanans are forcing some to sell their family farms and ranches because of medical bills. He adds many Montana small business owners who can't afford to insure their employees.

Tester says employees in the Nashua school district face premium hikes of 72%. He says a teacher in Lambert saw her monthly premium skyrocket from $895 to $1,600 leaving her with just $75 each month.

The House is expected to vote on the reform bill on Sunday. Analysts say it's still too close to call.

Do you really think you can betray your constituents and win re-election? And where is the tort reform to go with it?

Medicaid and Medicare denies more of the claims that they receive than the private companies and any help that you might get after you have been denied three times is months and months later if you are lucky, plus they are already the largest medical insurance provider. However, you are so focused on the robber telling you that your lock is broken that you don't see him loading up your TV. As far as the death panels go, are you actually able to say that services will not be cut and procedures declined after they take the huge budget cuts that they are promising to? WAKE UP

Actually, Jon is quite well informed, although he not as you suggest, "uniformed", since he is a Senator and not a member of the military. Oh, and those death panels you nuts talk about? They exist because free enterprise insurance companies reject 22% of all claims made to them and many of those rejected are from the sickest, most desperate and most expensive payers of insurance premiums.
