BILLINGS – The deadline to file for a seat on the Billings school board is coming. Five trustee positions are open.

So far only three candidates have applied to be on the May 4th ballot. March 25th is the deadline for candidates that are hoping to serve on the board for School District 2.

Districts that are open are: District One covering the south side, District Two and Three, those seats represent the Heights area. District Five located between Rehberg Lane and 17th Street West and District Seven covers the Billings Westend.

Trustees must live in the district that they represent. Applications must be turned into the election's office at the Yellowstone County Courthouse.
