BILLINGS - Three more candidates have filed to unseat Yellowstone County Attorney Dennis Paxinos, including two democrats.

Local attorney Joseph Raffiani announced his candidacy Monday at the county courthouse lawn. Raffiani is a former assistant attorney general for the state of Montana's child protection unit where he specialized in prosecuting child abuse and neglect cases.

Raffiani said recent revelations concerning Paxinos' behavior show it's time for a change. He said his experience makes him a perfect candidate for the position.

"I'm excited to give the people of Yellowstone County a chance in this year's election and I think they need a county attorney they can be proud of."
