BILLINGS - Three men accused of bringing several pounds of cocaine into Billings face possible life sentences as their federal trial continues.

Domingo Baez, 40, of Billings faces conspiracy charges. Prosecutors said Baez received cocaine shipments from co-defendants Maurisio Ramirez and Gilberto Acevedo of Wenatchee, Washington.

Special agents said they discovered the drug ring after a September 2008 traffic stop. Former Carbon County District Attorney Robert Eddleman and his fiancée, Terri Kurth, plead guilty to their part in the cocaine ring.

Monday, Kurth testified that Baez was their supplier. Court documents said the ring began operation on or around January 2004.
