BILLINGS - A Billings man accused of sexually assaulting a young boy is officially charged in court Monday.

Twenty-four-year-old James Gauna faces three counts of sexual intercourse without consent. Police said Gauna attacked a boy under the age of 12 after school along an irrigation ditch near 17th street West. They said the boy was able to escape and run home.

Police arrested Gauna Thursday night. Authorites said Gauna met the boy while buying video games at a local store. They said Gauna learned the boy's screen name and the two would play games together online. Gauna is being held on $150,000 dollars bail and is scheduled to appear in District Court on Thursday.

Thank You to all who are taking up for the boy and his family! and BF I hope you are correct that he lives in Eternal Hell! I cant see how anyone could or would say that its a mistake! Dear Tim; We all read your ranting on the comments of the first article. You still have not even said one word of support for the poor boy who is the victim here. Not your "life partner". You need to be happy that the police found him before anyone else. Otherwise frontier justice would have taken over in the form of Shoot ,Shovel ,Shut-up and rightfully so I might add. To Tim: Evidently your not a parent, most likely, you are just as perverted as your best friend. Yes, people to make mistakes, and people have to be responsible for those mistakes. As for your friend, a few years in state prision in general population with a sign on his back "child molester" should do for a while.

I like the idea of a rope. Sure we all make mistakes but this was no mistake. He knew exactly what he was doing and deserves to die because of it. Some mistakes aren't tolerable and will not be forgiven.

Another prime example while public hangings should still be in use today. I don't want to even pay for a cup of coffee through my Montana taxes for this individual, but I would gladly pay full price for a good rope.

To those in support of the young boy & his family, THANK-YOU It will be an eternity before this family can even begin to get past the pain this monster has instilled on thier family. A young boy in body-a broken soul & fearful mind & heart to repair. May God be with you! We love you! To all the parent, love & protect your children the best way you know how,don't let the devil send a "jimmy" to take away thier innosence. To those who are in support of this sick SOB this is fact not fiction & you are sadly mistaken about your frien. As a close personal friend of the young boy whose innocent childhood has been permanetly taken away from him, I wish "jimmy" only a very long stay in prison with very long torturous years ahead, going in labeled a child rapist is only the beginning, there is no torture that would be good enough to satisfy the hearts & souls of the victim & his family, may "jimmy" live in Eternal Hell!
