BILLINGS - Relay for Life is still months away but dozens of Billings residents began preparing for the annual event Saturday.

Organizers held the annual kick-off celebration for Yellowstone County's Relay for Life Saturday at Billings West High school. They recognized top teams from last year's event and honored cancer survivors. Participants were also given a chance to start forming teams.

This year the group hopes to raise more than $600,000 dollars with more than 190 teams. The 2010 Relay for Life will be held on July 9th and 10th at the West High school track. For more information on the event, click here.
