Fromberg Career Week

By Katie Ussin

BILLINGS - Adulthood is a long ways away for the sixth graders at Fromberg Elementary School, but all week they were learning about different careers. Local professionals shared with them the ends and outs of their jobs. Friday, a certain reporter did her best to describe the TV news business.

We have all been in their shoes once, and hearing their career aspirations reminds us that you are never too old to follow your dreams.
Their career goals included: a fighter pilot, a policeman, a paleontologist, a football player for the Denver Broncos, a teacher, an architect, an astronaut, a farmer, and a veterinarian. The students all had one question for their teacher Mr. Holley.

"What do I want to do when I retire," he said repeating the question. 'I want to play golf, play with my grandkids, and do nothing else."

I may not have inspired any future reporters, but they seem set to go. So, look out world, here comes the future.
