Freezin' For a Reason

BILLINGS - A Billings radio personality braved the elements hoping to raise money for Haiti relief efforts.

For the last 6 days, "Livin' Large Larry" has been living in a hut outside Stockman Bank on King Avenue West. The donation drive is called "Freezin' For a Reason" and Larry said he's been wearing 4 layers of clothes under his coat. He has been broadcasting his experience from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

So far he has raised $1,800 dollars in cash at the hut, but isn't sure how much has been raised at the banks.

"Our goal was somewhere around the six's. You probably remember the story of the lady that was trapped under the bank in the rubble for six days. We designed our event around that story." said Larry.

Stockman Banks will still be accepting donations throughout the week, which will go to the American Red Cross.
