BILLINGS - About 100 people gathered in Billings to learn ways to keep a healthy heart.

Billings Clinic hosted an evening of heart smart cooking by serving a beef stir fry full of veggies but without adding extra sodium or MSG.

Chef Mark Perez showed the crowd some tips on serving up a heart-healthy meal without sacrificing taste.

Experts suggest focusing more on what to eat, rather than what not to eat.
Registered Dietician, Dayle Hayes said, “3 things stand out. eat more whole gains for the fiber. more fruits, and more vegetables.”

Hayes also said healthy food is the fuel for your body.
