BILLINGS - There are new travel restrictions across the nation in light of the attempted terrorist bombing, but specifics are hard to come by.
KULR-8 talked to quite a few people at the airport Monday night. They said traveling wasn't a pleasant process, but they didn't notice anything different during security screening.
Travelers at the Billings Logan International Airport are notified of increased security at the airport. The transportation security administration said all airports have increased security, but passengers coming back from holiday trips said they didn't notice any security changes on their return flights.
"I noticed no difference at all, in Seattle they do a great job," said Andy Marum of Miles City, "people were very friendly, I think they probably had an added level of friendliness Monday just because they know there were a lot of stressed out holiday travelers."
Ashley Wren, another holiday traveler, said she was pleased with the level of security even if she didn't notice a change. "I was happy with what they had because personally I think they're just kind of chasing tails trying to stay ahead of people," she said, "I think they're doing the best they can."
TSA said they have not released specific changes, so those planning attacks, will not have advanced warning. President Obama has ordered a full review of screening policies.
Around the country, travelers on domestic and international flights are reporting increased screening times at airports, reduced movement on aircraft and restrictions for electronics, and bulky items.
