BILLINGS - A woman has plead not guilty to her 7th DUI charge in Yellowstone County Court Monday.

Deputy County Attorney Ingrid Rosenquist said 55-year-old Rhonda Kay Gatlin was in Yellowstone County court Monday for her arraignment on felony DUI, misdemeanor driving without insurance and running a stop sign charges. Gatlin has six prior DUI charges.

Officers said before her arrest on December 18th, she was swerving on Highway 87 East in Lockwood, and ran a stop sign before they stopped her at the town pump. Officers said she refused to take a breath test on site.

Gatlin was released December 21st on a $30,000 dollar bond. There is no date set yet for her next court appearance.

I knew her son, a double tough son of a gun! He's a personal trainer in Billings, very professional, and very well thought of in that regard. If only he could train his mother not to drink and drive.

Ya know, I have known Rhonda and her family for along time. I graduated with her kids, and Rhonda has always been a drinker, but until ppl have been in her shoes, or have lived her life, NO ONE has the right to judge her, or anyone for the fact. Yes she needs help, but we all need help in some areas. Im sure none of you have perfect lives, don't judge someone else's doorstep until you clean your own. We all have things we can fix in our own lives. Have a Happy New Year.

Hey, anonymous idiot bigot...Rhonda is not Native! I happen to know her and her family. Yes, she needs to seek help and be kept off the streets until she earns the right to be back out on them. I don't care where she's from...the system failed her and she failed the system. Native or not, it doesn't give you, an anonymous, idiot bigot, the right to pass judgment on anyone with a problem. Maybe I should speak in a language YOU can understand: HEE-HAW HEE-HAW!

She's just like all the other Indians in Billings, drunk with no respect for the law. Send her back to Crow Agency and if she drives in Billings again give her 20 years in prison! At 55 years old you definetly have not learned your lesson. The next DUI will be the death of someone else!!1

I am always dumb founded when I read about drivers that have so many DUIs. We are all entitled to make one mistake. Two is too many. How do these drunks get 4,5,7,10 DUIs? Just check the Gazette archives 8 DUIs seem to be the average number. Where is the teeth in the law. Apparently Montana judges don't care. The statistics don't lie. Throw these bums in prison. There is no need to drive in there.

SHould be no bond as she apparently doesn't listen to what the law has to say. She's probably driving around drunk now. Send her to Mexico they seem to like to dump there criminals on us.
