BILLINGS - A jury finds a Texas man is responsible for the traffic deaths of a Missoula couple.

Late Monday morning, a Yellowstone County jury found Corey Jay guilty of two counts of felony negligent homicide and two counts of negligent endangerment.

Prosecutors said Jay was intoxicated when he crossed the median of I-90 in October 2008, crashing head-on with a car carrying David Hanson and Janice Thomas of Missoula.

They died shortly thereafter. Jay could face more than 40 years in prison. Sentencing is set for February 25th.

DUI --- I would think that a 5 year minimum prison sentence for a 2nd DUI conviction would change the whole "fun" idea/concept of drinking and driving...Time to crack down on this ...been outta hand far too **** long

whatever happened to 3 strikes and you are out. I guess that doesn't apply to repeat DUI's. I'm also sick of hearing that this is someone's repeat offense, sometimes 11th or 12th offense. Need to be tougher on drunks.

Its about time someone will pay the price for drunk driving. I' so sick of hearing that people have 5, 6, 7 DUI's. It's sickening. Let's get these people off the streets. Just because they drive drunk, they could kill my entire family. It's not okay anymore... I pitty this young man, but he will pay for his mistakes, and I'm okay with that.
