BILLINGS - An airline computer problem causes flight cancellations and delays around the country Thursday morning.

FAA officials say a computer malfunction at a flight processing center in Salt Lake City was to blame. It was fixed before noon. The FAA says the problem affected every airline in the country.

The glitch caused flight plans to be registered manually rather than through the automated system, and that slowdown lead to delays. However, the Billings Airport reported all flights on time Thursday morning despite the glitch.
