Wyoming Soldier Dies

BILLINGS - The Department of Defense announced Wednesday the death of a Wyoming soldier.

Staff Sergeant Ryan Zorn of Upton, Wyoming, died November 16th in Tal Afar, Iraq, following a vehicle rollover. Zorn was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 34th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.

The incident is under investigation.

My heart goes out to the family. One of my best friends is in Iraq and I pray every day for him to come home safely. My prayers are with his family and if I could I would say thank you to Ryan for fighting for our country.
