BILLINGS - A 62-year-old man is in custody after allegedly stabbing another man in Powder River County this week.

The Powder River County Undersheriff said Stanley Morgan stabbed one man in the western part of the county and threatened to stab a woman as well.

Morgan is being held at the Powder River County jail in Broadus for attempted deliberate homicide and felony aggravated assault. The Undersheriff said the stabbings took place at a rural ranch. Officials spent much of the day on scene Saturday and continue to investigate.

Interesting that media did not follow up on this story after the initial dramatic report. The alleged "attempted murderer" was the real victim in this situation. He was defending himself from an assault in his own home. Also, Linda, this man is at least second generation on the very same piece of Montana land. He has lived there 62 years, not some pilgrim. Get the whole story and encourage your local media to report both sides!

this is why you run a back ground check on "anyone" buying 'our' land,and pretending they don't exist,no contact as next door do,go to community gathernings or come to visit.no montana,we are getting some idiots and beware!!!
