BILLINGS - Local health officials say there could be an end in sight for the H1N1 outbreak in Billings.

Officials say they've seen lower numbers in the waiting room, but that this doesn't mean there are fewer cases. Officials at Billings Clinic say more people are treating their cases at home but they still see about 8-to-15 people in everyday.

St. Vincent Healthcare officials reported Monday that three children and nine adults were being treated for H1N1. Infectious disease specialist, David Graham, said he hopes to see the numbers drop soon.

"Overall we're having just the same number of cases in the community, but people are figuring out when they need to seek medical attention. So hopefully were going to hit our peak in the next week or two and hopefully see less illness in our community," said Graham.

Officials encourage you to seek medical attention if you're having trouble taking fluids or severe respiratory symptoms.
