HARDIN - A KULR-8 news crew was in California when American Police Force's Michael Hilton admitted to a judge that he is destitute. Some odd revelations came out Monday night, during a Two Rivers Authority meeting in Hardin.
Officials said they owe Michael Hilton $1,500 dollars. Hilton funded a May business trip to California but repayment is complicated by judgments against him. Officials said they'll contact California officials for direction in the matter.
In addition to that, the meeting offered further eye-opening revelations.
Prison developer James Parkey of Corplan Corrections, which helped create the jail, sent a letter stating that he did not have any contact with APF before the May meeting.
Meanwhile, state officials have asked Two Rivers Authority to conduct a valuation audit since the jail has not performed its intended use.
TRA officials have been in contact with numerous authorities trying to fill the jail, and are ready to ask state officials what changes would need to be made in order to contract with the state. That trip is on hold though until a new executive director is in place.
Officials received six applications for the position. Applicant and former APF spokeswoman Becky Shay was in attendance. Officials said they hope to fill the position by the next meeting.
TRA President Gary Arneson suddenly announced his plans to step down as president, but will stay on the board until the end of his term in May. Both Arneson and Al Peterson, whose term also expires in May, said they will not seek another term.
TRA officials are also looking for new legal representation, and will be billing former Two Rivers Authority Contract Attorney Becky Convery for office cleaning. A source said Convery kept a goat, rabbits, and a stray dog in her office.
A Chinese delegation is set to visit Hardin in order to discuss a horse slaughter facility. Recent moves by the Montana legislature have opened the door for such a facility, but a lack of federal inspectors could make international shipping impossible.

The slaughter plant will be built. It will not be used for animals. It will be used to dispose of human remains on a mass scale. The wheels for the next Holocaust are turning. ya'll are too stupid to see it coming.
