BILLINGS - Bail is set for the man accused in the shooting death of his neighbor in Molt.

Stillwater County Justice of the Peace Marilyn Kober set bail at $2-million for Jeffrey Hardman, 48. Hardman is being held on deliberate homicide charges for the October 15 shooting death of Michael Blattie, 33.

Court documents show that Hardman lives near the victim. Prosecutors said he has previous convictions for assault, drug charges and weapons charges, some from West Virginia.

Hardman is expected to be arraigned in two weeks.
