BILLINGS - After a four-month absence, the Yellowstone County Museum is officially reopening.

The exhibit features a brand new display of digitally remastered portraits from the Billings and Yellowstone Valley area. It will also have portraits taken by famous visitors to the area over a 40-year period. Officials say they are anxious for everyone to see their new display.

"The photographs have been put away for years and stored in their old, original negative format and they've been all digitally remastered and reproduced here for everyone to see," said Museum Director, Chas Weldon.

The museum has been closed since June due to road construction near the Billings airport. The reopening happens on Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Admission to the museum is free.
