Father Looks For Justice

BILLINGS - The father of a Billings girl hit by a bus last month is on a quest for justice. Gary Dykes said he's not looking for what he called ‘southern justice,’ just due process.

Authorities continue to search for bus driver Tim Whalen, and the Dykes family is trying to help. They're looking for a picture of the former legislator so that they can print flyers with his face on them. They'll distribute the flyers throughout the area in hopes of getting more tips to the police.

Gary Dykes said his heart sank when he heard about the accident. "I couldn't get there fast enough,” he said, “and seeing her in the condition that she was in, it turns a man up inside.”

Dykes said his daughter is recovering well, but wants to see Whalen face charges.

Hold the bus company responsible until this guy can be found. They hired him, so they have some responsibility to at least help find the guy.

I hope justice is served. There is no room on the streets for any drunk driver. The sooner the law starts taking these people off the road with more than just a slap on the wrist the safer the children will be.

well, i hope you find him and a little "southern justice" sneaks out. i am tired of the way people are getting away with things anymore.
